POP MART

Well, we’ve cleared the halfway point of the year. Following the holiday break, everyone came back just in time to get their dance moves down for their #inmyfeelings moment on social media. Once again, Drake makes his mark on pop culture with his latest musical offerings as he scores big on the charts and the addboard.

Republic’s Spangler, Russell and Dastur put Drake’s “In My Feelings” (YMCMB) at the top of the addboard this week. It’s #1 at iTunes, Spotify and Shazam, and has sparked its own dance, so yeah, you could say it’s on fire. Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry”—one of the week’s Top 5 Greatest Gainers—is heading toward the #1 spot on the chart. Taylor Swift’s “Delicate” (Big Machine) is Top 5, while Top 15 at iTunes and Top 20 U.S. Shazam. Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood” (Island) moves up inside the Top 10. Drake’s “Nice for What” (YMCMB) is heading Top 10. Post Malone’s “Better Now” looks like it’s making the Top 15 move, while Top 5 iTunes. Nicki Minaj f/Ariana Grande’s “Bed” (YMCMB) is heading Top 25. Tiesto & Dzeko f/Preme & Post Malone’s “Jackie Chan” debuted this week, and KENZ OM/PD Rick Vaughn says, “It’s my f’ing jam.” Looks like others do; it was one of the Most Added tracks of the week.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich and Shih put Bebe Rexha’s “I’m a Mess” in the Most Added column again this week, pulling in 13 new stations with big adds from HITS 1, Z100 and WODS. That one’s on track to join the Top 25. Marshmello & Anne-Marie’s “Friends” is Top 5 with a closed-out panel. Bryce Vine’s “Drew Barrymore” pulled in KDWB, Y100 and KZZP this week, just as it gets set to move Top 25. Dennis Lloyd’s “Nevermind” has charted and secured new airplay from XHTZ, WQEN and KKDM.

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio and Cooper put Justin Timberlake’s “SoulMate” at the top of the addboard this week, scoring 34 adds, which include KIIS, HITS 1 and B96. Khalid X Normani’s “Love Lies”—one of the week’s Greatest Gainers—lands inside the Top 15. Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is now Top 20 with 165+ stations onboard. Kygo f/Miguel’s “Remind Me to Forget” was Top 10 Most Added again this week. New airplay comes in from KRBE and WKST as it gets set to join the Top 20. Enrique Iglesias f/Pitbull’s “Move to Miami” is Top 30 with 20m Spotify streams and 32m video views. Martin Garrix f/Khalid’s chartbound “Ocean” was one of the Top 10 Most Added this week, scoring adds from KBKS, KMXV and KMVQ.

Caroline’s Saturn, Halpern and Holman move NF’s “Lie” (NF Real Music) Top 30 and nab another eight stations, including WIHT, WAKS and KISO.

Interscope’s Romano and Lopes impacted two tracks coming out of the holiday week and put both in the Top 10 Most Added column. Social House f/Lil Yachty’s “Magic in the Hamptons” pulled in 20+ stations, including Z100 WBLI and WODS, while Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” scored 40+ adds, including KAMP, KHKS, WPOW and WFLZ. Maroon 5 f/Cardi B’s “Girls Like You” (222) was the #1 Greatest Gainer on the chart. We hear there’s some pretty impressive callout out there, and this one should be Top 5 shortly. Selena Gomez’s “Back to You” is set to join the Top 10; it’s #1 Spotify and #2 Shazam. Years & Years’ “If You’re Over Me” is chartbound with 45+ stations on board. Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams” (Grade A) is impacting now with early major market airplay from KAMP, KIIS, WODS and KBFF.

Def Jam’s Farag and Rothschild have moved Alessia Cara’s “Growing Pains” Top 20 at both Pop and Hot AC. With a nearly closed-out panel, this one looks like it’ll be headed for the Top 15 shortly. There are 14.5m combined streams and 2.7m video views to date.

Capitol’s Marella, Rainey and Nolletti enjoyed another double-digit add week, placing 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Youngblood”—now Top 20—back in the Most Added column; new adds include WKSC, KRBE and KUDL. Halsey f/Big Sean & Stefflon Don’s “Alone” (Astralwerks) continues to grow spins inside the Top 20. Both MNEK f/Hailee Steinfeld’s “Colour” and Migos f/Drake’s “Walk It, Talk It” are bubbling just under and looking to chart.

Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis charted Sabrina Carpenter’s “Almost Love” with 110+ stations onboard; early spin leaders include KDIS, KYLD, WNKS and WEZB.

Columbia’s Team Leipsner has cleared the panel on Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss,” which is Top 10. Major market spin leaders include KQMV, KAMP and WXKS. Foster The People’s “Sit Next to Me” continues to move up inside the Top 20 with 165+ stations onboard.

Epic’s Sackheim, Afloarei and Dimig have Jennifer Lopez f/DJ Khaled & Cardi B’s “Dinero” moving into the Top 25 this week. Meghan Trainor’s “Let You Be Right” is now Top 30 with 110+ stations on board; majors leading the charge are KIIS, WIOQ, WPOI and WFLC.

MUSIC WE LOVE: benny blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside” (Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope), The Vamps’ “Just My Type” (Island/Republic).
