To celebrate the inking of Norwegian artist/songwriter/DJ Alan Walker to the pubco, Sony/ATV Music Publishing Scandinavia Managing Director Johnny Tennander, Walker and Walker’s manager Gunnar Greve posed for this arguably festive trade shot. Walker's "Faded" has been a global hit and one of Spotify's biggest tracks of the year. The deal is overseen by Sony/ATV's pan-European A&R team, who close acts with stunning alacrity thanks to their ability to take them to any kind of dinner imaginable

Said Sony/ATV's UK Managing Director and President, European Creative Guy Moot: "This is a great signing for our European A&R team whose policy of working with the best of local talent and taking it international reflects the global music industry we operate in and has allowed countless acts to fully reach their worldwide potential. I am excited that Alan Walker will now be part of this setup. He is an amazing artist and surrounded by an incredibly professional team who we cannot wait to work with.”

Tennander, who is also a key part of the pan-European A&R team, said: “We’re thrilled about this signing. Alan’s breakthrough has been incredible and he has taken huge steps as an artist and writer in only one year. We are very happy and excited about working closely with Alan, Gunnar and their fantastic team going forward and very much look forward to contribute to his artist and songwriter world. Next year is going to be exciting.”
