HUBERT TO STEP UP AT KOBALT

Word has it that Richard Sanders' successor as Kobalt President will be ex-BMG exec Laurent Hubert.

As we reported last October, the well-respected Hubert joined Kobalt as President Platform and Investments for the new B2B rights-management platform division shortly after leaving BMG.

Sources close to the situation expect Founder/CEO Willard Ahdritz to make the announcement early next week, as part of a "new leadership structure" the chief exec promised in a recent internal memo.
