UMPG PRODUCTION MUSIC TAPS SAMMIS AS PREZ

Michael Sammis has been named the new president of Universal Music Publishing Production Music, the division of UMPG that creates and licenses music for film, television, broadcast and other media.

Sammis is coming off a 21-year run as global CFO and EVP of Operations for UMPG. He's replacing Gary Gross, who continues to be based in Santa Monica and reports to Jody Gerson. Sammis' successor as CFO will be announced at a future date.
