Stephen Schwartz, the composer and lyricist responsible for Pippin, and Wicked, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell.

A member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the American Theater Hall of Fame, the Grammy, Tony and Oscar winner "I have a long and happy history working with Kurt Deutsch, and I am delighted to be joining him and the Warner/Chappell family as we look to making more music and undertaking more exciting projects for the future."

Deutsch, Senior Vice President, Theatrical & Catalog Development for Warner/Chappell Music, has produced numerous cast albums of Schwartz shows, among them The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the 2013 version of Pippin and the 2011 cast album for Godspell.
