AIMP NY SUMMER SCHOOL IS IN SESSION

The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) NY Chapter held an event on 8/14 entitled "Songwriting Deals in the Changing Landscape of the Music Business," which took place at ASCAP's office in NYC. Three expert music industry panelists came together to teach which elements songwriters should take into consideration when choosing a publisher, and discussed key variations in rights and obligations in the different types of music publishing contracts.
