UMPG LATIN PROMOTES CARDONA
10/21/19

UMPG has announced that Olga Cardona has been promoted to VP, Admin & Marketing, Latin Music. Based in Miami, Cardona will continue to report to Alexandra Lioutikoff, UMPG President for Latin America and U.S. Latin.

Carona joined UMPG in 2007 through the acquisition of BMG Music Publishing. In addition to being responsible for the company's Latin catalongs, the biz veteran also managed catalogs for top talent including Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, J Balvin, Jorge Luis Piloto and Rich Music LTD, among others.

In her expanded role, Cardona will oversee administration and marketing in Latin America and be responsible for driving increased exposure of UMPG’s Latin songwriter roster on social channels. She will also work closely with the company’s Global Administration team in Nashville, as well as with UMPG’s North American and European Marketing teams.

“Olga’s passion for administration is invaluable,” said Lioutikoff. “I’ve known her for a long time and her vast experience and outstanding dedication make her an integral asset to our team. I couldn’t be prouder of her achievements and look forward to her continued success.

Cardona is a member of the Latin Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences; the Songwriters Hall of Fame; Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame; She Is The Music; NAFE and serves as the Vice Chair of Membership for Women in Music's Miami chapter. She holds a Master's degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from University of Miami's Frost School of Music.
