SONY/ATV HIRES TWO
5/6/20

Sony/ATV has announced the addition of Cam Caldwell as VP, Business Affairs and Courtney Pender as VP, Human Resources to their team.

In his new role, Caldwell will be responsible for negotiating all publishing and administration agreements, JVs and catalog acquisitions for the Nashville office, as well as overseeing litigation. “Cam is sure to be a unique and valuable addition to the company’s legal team, and we are grateful to have him join the Sony/ATV family,” says Sony/ATV Nashville CEO, Rusty Gaston, who Caldwell will directly report to.

Prior to joining Sony/ATV, Caldwell (L) served ten years in private practice law and was most recently an attorney at Loeb & Loeb, LLP. The Florida Costal School of Law alum is experienced in both entertainment law and litigation, having represented clients including artists, producers, publishers and labels, in addition to litigating copyright infringement lawsuits, business disputes and more.

Also based out of the Nashville office, Pender (R) will provide HR leadership and support to employees based in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. In her role, she will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic initiatives and practices that will produce a successful work environment for Sony/ATV’s employees.

Along with receiving her MBA from Western Governors University and two HR certifications, Pender previously worked as the Senior HR Business Partner at PopHealthcare, LLC., where she managed people operations for various teams. She also spent time at Fresinus Medical Care N. America and Bridgestone. SVP of Global Human Resource Elicia Felix-Hughey shares, “Courtney has extensive experience in driving and achieving successful business results, and we are excited to work with her on creating a brighter future for Sony/ATV and its staff.”
