UMPG INKS THE AFRO BROS
10/26/20

UMPG has inked DJs/producers Afro Bros to an exclusive, global publishing deal. Based in the Netherlands, the group consists of Rashid Badloe, Giordano Ashruf and Ogri (Shareef Badloe).

Behind hits from artists like Major Lazer, Anitta, Pablo Vitar, Ronnie Flex and more, the Afro Bros teamed up with Jeon to produce the Latin Grammy-nominated “X” by Nicky Jam and J Balvin. They also co-wrote and produced Balvin’s “Amarillo,” from his album Colores.

“Afro Bros’ music is the perfect blend of South American rhythms with European grooves. From live performances as DJs to production work in studios, their music captivates fans around the world. We’re excited to work with Afro Bros and be part of their continued journey to global success,” shared Alexandra Lioutikoff, UMPG President Latin American and U.S. Latin.

The Afro Bros added, “We are super happy to say we’ve signed with UMPG. Couldn’t be happier with the team to work on our music and very excited for future projects!”

Afro Bros are managed by YahYah Music partners Frost Hernandez and Louri Rodriguez.
