While the majority of my colleagues were focused on tracking new releases on Friday, I had the pleasure of fleeing the cesspool to start my weekend early. My field trip took me to the land of watermelon margaritas and tacos—aka Warner Bros.' Summer Sessions, featuring Bebe Rexha.
Reeking of chutzpah, the fearless rock star mesmerized the crowd, performing chart-topping tracks, including David Guetta’s “Hey Mama,” which features Rexha and Nicki Minaj. In addition, she delivered a solid performance of Rihanna & Eminem’s hit, “Monster Under My Bed,” co-penned by Rexha.
This badass bitch held nothing back, clothing included, as she disregarded a few wardrobe malfunctions, warning the crowd that they’d probably “see a little more nip, cause it’s gonna get a little crazier." No, I don’t have any photos for proof, you perverts.
After taking the opportunity to urge industry weasels to refrain from changing their artists, Rexha paused to praise Senior A&R Exec Jeff Fenster. She thanked him for believing in her since day one—the day she walked into his office in her “corny-ass beanie cap and dress.”

Take a listen to Rexha's Spotify Viral 50 smash, “Show Me Crazy,” off her debut EP, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up. I bet you'll find that Fenster made the right decision.
L’chaim,
Naomi Robin
