SUPERET SUPER-SERVES YOU
10/24/17

Since I first heard Superet I've been feeling that same geek love I felt as a teen during the first fusillade of herky-jerky new-wave bands: They mix brash, hooky choruses, frenetic energy and all-out weirdness with a heartening fearlessness. The Brian Frank-managed troupe, whose EP on Rob the Rich Recordings via Big Deal drops on 10/30, will be kicking off a Monday night residency at L.A.'s The Echo/Echoplex (three Mondays at the former, one at the latter) in November. The emphasis track is "Loving the Animal," but if you can't wait for the EP, here's a little something to nibble on.
