ICYMI: A WEEKEND AT THE FONDA
1/23/18

L.A.'s Fonda Theatre experienced a two-night engagement with Sub Pop's Wolf Parade and openers Charly Bliss (Barsuk), spanning 1/19-1/20.

Both groups performed songs from their most recent albums (Cry, Cry, Cry and Guppy, respectively) much to the delight of a crowd that actually started pouring in when the doors opened, a rare feat when the show doesn't start for an hour later at least. They're presently continuing their North American tour with five remaining dates.

Brilliant Corners-managed Charly Bliss was featured on Rolling Stone's Best Songs of 2017 (for "Glitter") and have hardly taken a break from touring the whole year. Meanwhile, Wolf Parade's first album after a seven-year hiatus has had them selling out shows in its support nationwide; they're rep'd by Constant Artists.
