Producer and songwriter Hayden James dropped his eagerly awaited debut album, Between Us, on Friday (6/14) via Future Classic. Filled with features from local and international guests like Running Touch, GRAACE, NAATIONS, Elderbrook and FARR, the Australian native’s project proves to be a medley of electronic, pop, funk, and even a bit of R&B.
James has steadily been releasing music since his 2014 breakout, “Permission to Love,” put him on the map, so it’s no surprise that his 11-track debut boasts three platinum singles in addition to the double platinum “Just Friends.” “Between Us is about those intimate moments in your life... that energy you feel with someone. It’s a look at different stages of relationships - love, loss and everything in between,” says James.
In support of Between Us, he'll embark on his largest U.S. headline tour to date, spanning 13 North American cities this fall. To stay up to date on his whereabouts, click here. Pictured is James’ album launch party with surprise performance with FARR at Los Feliz’s Arsenic house.
