A NÜE BAND
7/17/19

RATT’s Steve Hott is bringing out the hairspray and guitars for a Mötley Crüe tribute band, the Mötley Nüe. Based in Las Vegas, the group plans to give fans a reproduction of the band’s early 80’s “Shout At The Devil” era and mid-2000’s performances. Mötley Nüe is set to headline the Viper Room in L.A. for their debut show on 8/10.

Managed by Lisa Tenner of Tenner and Associates, Mötley Nüe consists of Hott as Vince Neil, Rikki Sterling as Nikki Sixx, Cody Gilliland as Tommy Lee, Sehwang Kim as Mick Mars. Paired with duplicated instruments and all, Hott also commissioned the band’s original costume designer, Tod Waters from Junker Designs, to recreate the iconic looks.

“Over the course of their 34-year career, Mötley Crüe has sold in excess of 100 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time,” said Hott. “There is a resurgence of interest in Mötley Crüe, not just with its original fanbase, but the younger generation who are hungry to hear more.”
