Rising pop duo Magdalena Bay have dropped their newest single “Oh Hell” today (2/12), via Luminelle Recordings. Originally from Miami, the L.A.-based artists released a slew of tracks this year including “Killshot,” “Good Intentions,” and “Venice,” the latter of which is accompanied by a music video.
Comprised of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, the duo has a long history of writing together, but formed Magdalena Bay in 2016 and have since accumulated over 3.5m streams on Spotify alone. Combining retro pop lyrics and contemporary production, the band creates upbeats and synth-driven tracks with high-gloss pop sounds.
Stream “Oh Hell” below and keep an eye out for more music from Magdalena Bay in the new year.
