Bringing the nostalgic vibes, Canada-based DJ/Producer Midsplit has dropped his latest track, “Trouble.” Serving as the fourth single from his upcoming project, which is set to be released on Lowly Records, the track is co-written and performed by Emery Taylor and is riddled with early 2000s alt sounds.
Since stepping into the music scene in 2013, Midsplit has amassed over 17m streams, 6m unique listeners and 300k saves on Spotify alone. With support from dance music tastemakers such as The Chainsmokers, Cheat Codes and R3HAB, Midsplit has become one of Canada’s fastest rising young electronic producers.
