FFRR REBORN
2/8/21

Parlophone Records' dance imprint, FFRR, has undergone a brand refresh with a new logo and tagline, while hiring Evie Grain as Marketing Manager.

FFRR's new logo was created in partnership with graphic, music, art and fashion designer, Trevor Jackson. Its tagline, Music That Moves You, was used on a run of record sleeves released in the early '90s, which pays homage to the label’s history. Later this month, the label will launch its new webstore.

Parlophone Records Co-Presidents Mark Mitchell and Nick Burgess said of the relaunch: “Dance music is as culturally vibrant today as ever and FFRR remains massively important to the future of the Parlophone label. We have huge ambitions for FFRR and want it to establish itself as the #1 home for electronic artists in the U.K., simultaneously delivering glorious hit records and culturally vital artists."

Storm Queen’s “For A Fool,” the fourth release by producer/ DJ Morgan Geist, is the label’s first release; BURNSLoving Touch EP follows on 2/12.

Grain was previously Dance Label Manager at BMG where she oversaw the brand and marketing strategies for Fatboy Slim, Salsoul Records, and Strictly Rhythm.

Music exec and DJ Andy Daniell was tapped to lead the label toward the end of 2019. Since then, FFRR has enjoyed success with Diplo & SIDEPIECE’s “On My Mind,” Alan Fitzpatrick vs Patrice Rushen’s “Haven’t You Heard” and Obskür’s “Bayside.” Daniell has also welcomed artists such as Eats Everything, Sam Gellaitry and Sonny Fodera to the roster.
