CROSSEYED & LEGLESS
7/23/15

Though we weren’t invited to the listening party for Keith RichardsCrosseyed Heart (one word, no hyphen; Republic, 9/18), we’re enjoying the lead cut, the quintessentially Keith, fittingly titled “Trouble,” which was well worth $1.29. Yep, we actually peeled for the sucker—we’re old-school, like the man himself.

The new record has been a long time coming, to say the least—Keith’s last one was 1992’s Main Offender, from back in the Jeff & Jordan days at Virgin. Do yourself a favor and play the new one and the earlier album’s unsung classic “Wicked as It Seems” back to back, preferably with your go-to substances; it’ll make your evening.
