YOUR RADIO ADD RECAP

The Add Action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Hey, buddy! It's time to take a look at who got the big add action at three key radio formats.

TOP 40
Republic
delivers this week’s #1 Most Added song at Top 40 with Austin Mahone’s "Mmm Yeah" and makes a return appearance on the list with Martin Garrix’s "Animals." Mercury/IDJ has a breakout week on American Authors' "Best Day of My Life." Columbia has another big week with three on the list, Beyoncé f/Jay Z’s "Drunk in Love," John Legend’s "All of Me" and Pharrell Williams’ "Happy." Epic has another double-digit add week on Karmin’s "I Want It All" and RCA closes out the action for a fifth week on the list with Kid Ink f/Chris Brown’s "Show Me."

RHYTHM

With no records really impacting, it was more of a clean up week. Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation's Jay Z f/Beyoncé's "Part II (On The Run)," and Pharrell Williams' "Happy" (Columbia) were among the leaders. Columbia also had solid weeks from DJ Snake & Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What" and John Legend's "All Of Me." Epic's Kat Dahlia also grabbed a handful of new stations this week with "Crazy."

ALTERNATIVE

For the third time in three weeks, "Come With Me Now" by Epic's KONGOS is the most added Modern Rock song in America. In just a few weeks the song has gotten on over 50 stations. Virgin's Bastille continues to close down their new hit, "Bad Blood," which quickly jumps over the 40-station mark. Warner Bros. has a nice debut with NYC's Skaters and their debut single, "Deadbolt." Mom + Pop impress this week with Wild Cub's "Thunder Clatter." RCA gains again with Sleeper Agent's "Waves." Other winners include Interscope/Modular's Tame Impala with "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" and RCA's Kings of Leon with "Wait For Me."
