Negotiations With Pink Dot Fell Through
They don't deliver in under half and hour, but they don't expect a tip, either.

Universal Music Group signed a licensing agreement for digital distribution of their catalog into retail, using RedDotNet's proprietary system.

RedDotNet, formerly Digital On Demand, was acquired by Alliance Entertainment Corporation late last year. The kiosk system uses in-store stations that let music shoppers sample music and video and purchase music as well. It is a high-speed network between retailers and the company. Each in-store station has real-time manufacturing capabilities—CDs are burned on the spot and album covers and liner notes are printed out at the station.

RedDotNet already has in place similar agreements struck last year with Sony Music and EMI.

Alliance President/CEO Eric Weisman said, "We're pleased to partner with Universal Music Group with its rich catalog and extensive roster of artists. Now can anyone recommend a good French wastewater management company?"
