“Woooo!” Reeves said after receiving the gold-lacquered popcorn-filled tub-shaped trophy.
“Matrix's” MTV dominance follows its four Academy Award wins in March.
“Dude, I'm happy I have something to put next to my bong on the mantel,” Reeves was overheard saying in MTV's green room backstage. “This is excellent!”
Other multiple winners this year were “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me'' and ``Cruel Intentions'' with two prizes each. The latter won prizes for best kiss (between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair) and best female performance (Gellar). The “Powers'' sequel, meanwhile, was honored for best villain (Mike Myers) and best on-screen duo (Myers and Verne Troyer).
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker of ``Sex and the City'' hosted, and the show will be broadcast on MTV on June 8. And now that you can win the betting pool, don't forget our percentage.
