Net Group Announces Internet Radio Agreement With Shockwave.com
The MTVi Group, which encompasses MTV.com, VH1.com and SonicNet.com, today announced an Internet radio agreement with multimedia destination Shockwave.com. Under the terms of the agreement, MTVi will provide Internet radio services and content to shockwave.com.

The initiative launches today, delivering a wide variety of Radio SonicNet stations to visitors of Shockwave.com through a co-branded radio tuner hosted and served by MTVi. The tuner features streaming music, a "buy" option, artist info and animated graphics.

"We are creating a wide range of technologies for online music fans that can be used by our sites as well as our partner sites," said MTVi Group President/CEO Nicholas Butterworth. "We are excited to have Shockwave.com as one of our premier Internet radio partners. This move enhances our position as the Internet's number one music content company.
