Shady Headed For Brits, J.Lo Says No To Booty Insurance, Cash Not Cashing In Just Yet

EMINEM MAKING AWARDS SHOW CIRCUIT
If you're going to appear at one, you might as well do ‘em all. After revealing his plans just last week to perform at Wednesday's Grammy Awards despite expected protests from religious, gay and women's groups, rapper Eminem will now also appear at the Brits, the U.K.'s top awards show, organizers said Monday (2/19). The Brits are scheduled to take place Feb. 26, and will also feature U2, Robbie Williams and Coldplay. Unlike the tamer Grammys, the Brit Awards thrive on controversy, as recent years have been witness to public squabbles among music participants and the on-stage drunkenness of several artists in attendance. No confirmation that Oasis' Liam Gallagher, often a prime participant in the extracurricular activities featured at the Brits, plans to reveal that he indeed is the Real Slim Shady. In other Eminem-related news, Spice Girl Melanie C. noted in an interview that she'd enjoy collaborating in some way with the hugely popular, scandalous MC. "I'd love to work with Eminem. I think Eminem's great," the "Sporty" popster told an interviewer recently, even though the rapper had referred to her group as "all fat and ugly now."

LOPEZ BODY UNINSURED; MILLIONS LINE UP TO TAKE A BITE
Jennifer Lopez
, now known to all as J.Lo, denied reports that her body is insured for $1 billion. "I know that was a big rumor," she told reporters in Hong Kong. "I actually saved the [reports] to show my kids one day, but it's not true. Sorry." She did say, however, that she credits her butt, for earning her millions. She said Monday (2/19) that she reads little of what is written about her in the media. "Things tend to be exaggerated a lot," she said. "For instance, who really believes that I could be involved in a multiple-shooting case?"

CASH'S HEALTH IMPROVING; MAN IN RENO NOT SO LUCKY
Legendary singer-songwriter Johnny Cash, who has been fighting pneumonia in a Nashville hospital, has been upgraded from serious to satisfactory condition. The 68-year-old artist behind such epochal tunes as "Folsom Prison Blues" and "I Walk the Line" is up for two Grammys at this week's ceremony. He suffers from an ongoing illness called autonomic neuropathy that requires constant vigilance against opportunistic infections like pneumonia.
