Limp Bizkit may have cancelled the remainder of its European tour because Fred Durst threw his back out, but the singer is still able to throw his weight behind the first new artists signed to his Flawless imprint, Puddle of Mudd. The group’s debut single, "Control," has been among the most added at PoMo and Active Rock the past two weeks, even though the official add date isn’t until next Monday, July 16. The quartet’s album, Come Clean, hits the streets August 14.
The Kansas City, MO-based band is finishing a tour with Staind and Cold before heading out for the rest of the summer with Godsmack and the Deftones on July 12. Durst, President of Flawless and Sr. VP of A&R at Interscope Geffen A&M, signed Staind to Flip/Geffen and Cold to Flip/Elektra. He directed the video for "Control" saying, "Basically, artists signed to Flawless can expect my heart and soul. I really put my back into it."
