VanCleave for Wed. AM

FLO RIDER: Indie-retail legend Don VanCleave has joined interestingly named Nashville-based company FLO {thinkery} as part of its core group of senior executive advisors. VanCleave, who co-founded the Coalition of Independent Music Stores in 1995 and headed the org for 14 years, was the first recipient of NARM’s Independent Spirit Award in 2009. Don says he’s looking forward to becoming part of FLO’s “merry band of independent, successful thinkers and doers,” while FLO founder Mark Montgomery hails VanCleave as “another crazy badass. We have a Nerf gun with his name on it.” (9/17a)
