The Mercy Beats/In the Valley Below residency

ECHO CHAMBER: The Mercy Beat, the new band fronted by Sam Endicott of The Bravery, and Caroline/Capitol’s L.A. indie duo In the Valley Below begin a weekly co-residency on Monday night at L.A.’s The Echo. TMB marks Endicott’s return to the stage after four years of penning songs for other artists. Admission for the shows, slated to run every Monday night through May, is free; doors open at 8:30. The venue is located in Echo Park, so fanciful beards are de rigueur. (4/30p)
