RYANTOLOGY: Various sources report that Ryan Seacrest will renew his deal with American Idol for two years and will expand his projects with Clear Channel, while ramping down his participation with NBC Universal. His extended CC activity would include producing programs through Ryan Seacrest Productions and playing a greater role in iHeartRadio content. While his 2012 deal with NBCU has lapsed and it remains uncertain if he’ll renew, says The Wrap, he would continue pitching properties; he has been particularly keen, it’s said, to discontinue his red-carpet hosting duties for E! Seacrest is also said to be fielding offers from other networks. (4/21a)
