Beck-GoGo

TWO TURNTABLES AND A BEVERAGE CART: Beck’s going to be heard up in the clouds, and not just because you’re wasted. Capitol’s pact with inflight Internet provider GoGo will enable the latter’s passenger-users (3.5 million uniques per month, on more than 2,000 domestic planes) to stream the artist’s acclaimed new album, Morning Phase, online for 30 days, simply by launching a browser. For those of you not planning to travel by air, the set (which The New Yorker called “a triumph”) is also being streamed as a "First Listen" on iTunes Radio. In other Beck news, the L.A. Times chatted with the mercurial music-maker for a profile late last week, in which he mentioned that he’s planning to release another album this year, and that Pharrell may be among the guest artists involved. We feel stoned just thinking about it. (2/24p)
