The Cups Experiment

THEIR CUPS RUNNETH OVER: If you're like us, the phrase "The Cups Experiment" puts you in mind of that trip to Cabo in 2004 when there were all these cups with different kinds of tequila in them, and then suddenly it was 2006. But this item is about another Cups Experiment entirely: the one associated with the Anna Kendrick hit "Cups" from Republic's Pitch Perfect soundtrack. Seems WFBC Greenville rented out the BiLoCenter in Greenville and invited fans to register online to participate in a collective rendition of the song--and more than 700 folks of varying ages and genders signed up to participate on 4/28, without any prize incentives, in the midst of inclement weather. The video above captures the cup-play in all its glory. (4/29p)
