Big Deal hires Casey Robison from BMI

CASEY AT THE BAT: Big Deal Music, the recently formed pubco headed by Kenny MacPherson, has brought in Casey Robison as VP Publishing/Management. Casey was Sr. Director of Writer/Publisher Relations at BMI in L.A., where he worked with songwriters and bands including Imagine Dragons, Foster the People, Wallpaper, Gary Clark Jr., Mikky Ekko, Tim Pagnotta, Evan Bogart, Bonnie McKee, Busbee and David Hodges. Like Kenny Mac, Dave Ayers and Jamie Cerreta, he’s an alumnus of Chrysalis Music. “We’re very excited to have Casey join us here at Big Deal,” said MacPherson. “Casey has a long history with many of us here at Big Deal, and we’re looking forward to having him as a part of the team—as long as he doesn’t wear his USC regalia to the office.” (4/10a)
