Gibbons' Moving Sidewalks plays reunion show

FLASHBACK: The Moving Sidewalks, Billy Gibbons’ band prior to forming ZZ Top, gave its first performance since July 4, 1969, Saturday night at a sold-out B.B. King's in N.Y. In the fan-made clip above, Billy and the boys blast through “Foxey Lady,” one of numerous Jimi Hendrix covers that dotted Sidewalks setlists back in the day. According to Bob Merlis, there will be at least one more chance to catch the reunited band, when they play the Austin Psych Fest April 28 on a bill with Roky Erickson of the 13th Floor Elevators.
