EIGHT AND A HALF MONTHS: We hear that Rob Wiesenthal is leaving his post as President of International for Sony/ATV at the end of the year, and that the pubco doesn’t plan to fill the vacancy. The Sony Corp. of America vet had segued from EVP/CFO of the mothership to take the publishing post just this March and was said to have been intimately involved in the acquisition of EMI Music Publishing. Wiesenthal is reportedly headed to Warner Music, where he's expected to be named COO. (12/20a)
