Led Zeppelin Starts a Revolution

LED IN THEIR PENCIL: Two classic Led Zeppelin tunes, "Kashmir" and "Since I've Been Loving You," will be heard in next week's episode of NBC's post-apocalyptic drama Revolution. Creator Eric Kripke told AP he jumped on a Warner/Chappell e-mail query about licensing the rock legends' music with such ardor, he reports, that it "weirded them out a little." "Kashmir" will also be heard in promos for the installment. In a very possibly related story, Zeppelin--which historically has approved few sync licenses--will unleash a double-live set, Celebration Day (on Atlantic), with an accompanying DVD on the day the show airs. In a tangentially related story, many people on the Eastern Seaboard would love to watch this exciting series about a world without electricity, but can't because they still don't have electricity.
