‘TOO CLOSE’ FINDS COMFORT: Universal Republic looks to have yet another winner on its hands. British singer/songwriter Alex Clare’s “Too Close,” which can be heard on the current national Microsoft Internet Explorer TV campaign (see below), has already sold 227k digital singles, with airplay just kicking in.
