PLAY IT AGAIN, HOODIE: Long Island Jewish rapper Hoodie Allen’s self-released All American remains firmly ensconced atop iTunes’ Album chart this morning, as our crack retail staff tallies up the numbers for the surprise best-seller. The Rapper formerly known as Steve Markowitz’s album includes such joints as the first single, “No Interruption,” “Top of the World,” “No Faith in Brooklyn” and “Ain’t Gotta Work.” He’s a University of Pennsylvania grad who worked at Google as an AdWords associate before his career began to take off. His previous albums include Bagels & Beats and Making Waves, the latter earning him an mtvU Best Music on Campus Award.
