Alabama Shakes at SXSW

SHAKES ALL OVER: HITS' resident Texas homeboy Todd Hensley reports from SXSW: “The weasels battled the street closures and flocked from Karen's panel and the Four Seasons to see Alabama Shakes at Stubbs for Red Light’s showcase. The band releases their much-awaited ATO debut, Boys & Girls, April 10. Among those on hand: Red Light’s Coran Capshaw, Ed Green, Carlyn Kessler, Capone, Bruce Flohr, Bruce Eskowitz, Jon Salter, Chris Mays, KBCO’s Scott Arbbough, Epic’s Jacqueline Saturn (who arrived via peddie cab), KGSR’s Kristen and Chris Edge, KROQ’s Lisa Worden and RED’s Danny Buch.
