Scooter Braun on the Go

BRAUN & BRAINS: Plenty of activity surrounding Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun as the pair roll out the first release, teen viral video sensation Carly Rae Jepson, on their new Schoolboy Records label through Interscope. The first single, “Call Me Maybe,” is already climbing the iTunes chart. Then there's the Braun-managed U.K. vocal group sensations The Wanted, who will release their U.S. debut this spring on Mercury/IDJ, with the single, “Glad You Came,” climbing to #2 at iTunes, #1 in Canada and Top 5 at Pop radio . The band recently completed a sold-out, three-week, 10-city U.S. tour which included headlining shows at N.Y.’s Gramercy Theater and L.A.’s El Rey Theatre after performances on Ellen and Chelsea Lately. In addition, the Biebs is reportedly at work on his eagerly awaited new album. (3/6a)
