Hammond Is Missing Piece

HAMMOND THE MISSING PIECE: Veteran marketing executive and digital media strategist John Hammond has joined the Missing Piece Group, a modular, virtual record label and marketing agency, as Head of Marketing and Digital. The appointment was made by founder/CEO Michael Krumper, previously head of marketing at Razor & Tie, Mercury Label Group and GM of Artemis Records. Hammond was most recently VP Marketing and Digital Strategy at the MuseBox, working with Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Raphael Saadiq and Maroon 5. He previously held senior positions in digital and marketing with Sony BMG Music, Wind-up Records and TVT Records, beginning his career at Rykodisc as Director of Marketing. In addition, Regina Joskow joins the company as head of publicity after a decade running PR at the Verve Music Group. (3/5p)
