Simpson Does Xmas

JESSICA DOES XMAS: Newly engaged Jessica Simpson will release a new album, Happy Christmas, on Nov. 22 on Primary Wave Music through her own 11Eleven Records imprint. The album, produced by the legendary Tricky Stewart and The-Dream features holiday classics and Simpson-penned originals, like “I Saw Tony Romo Kissing Santa Claus.” It’s her second holiday album following 2004’s Rejoyce: The Christmas Album, and features Willie Nelson on a bluesy “Merry Christmas Baby” and active naval officer John Britt on “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” Look for her to appear in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, then perform at the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting. A special exclusive version of the album sold only in Macy’s stores will include two bonus tracks. (11/17p)
