Sugarland Settle Suit

SUGARLAND BURY THE HATCHET: A suit filed by Sugarland founding member Kristen Hall against the band's Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles for profits she claimed she was owed after she left has been settled in U.S. District Court in Atlanta. Hall, who founded the band with Bush in 2002, claimed she also served as the group’s manager when it started, using her own credit cards to cover expenses. Hall was seeking more than one-third of the band’s profits, even though she ankled the group in 2005 to go solo. Bush and Nettles, who denied they had a profit-sharing agreement with Hall, said she left the band nearly $100k in debt. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. (11/15a)
