Dangerbird to Fontana

DANGERBIRD FLIES WITH FONTANA: L.A. indie Dangerbird Records, home of Grammy nominees Silversun Pickups, Minus the Bear, Hot Hot Heat and neo-soul party band Fitz & the Tantrums, has inked a distribution deal with UMGD’s Fontana. The label was previously distributed by ADA. Fontana’s Ron Spaulding and Dangerbird CEO Jeff Castelaz made the announcement. Upcoming 2011 label releases include The Dears, The One AM Radio, Maritime and Eulogies. Dangerbird was formed in 2004 by Castlez and Eulogies singer/songwriter Peter Walker. (11/1p)
