MeTalkPretty Get T-Mobile Love

BUSY SIGNALS: Hot N.Y.-based free agents MeTalkPretty have been named by Harmonix Music and MTV Games’ Rock Band Network as the “T-Mobile Artist of the Month.” The band will be featured over the next month in promotions on the Rock Band Network Music Store and on the official game website here. MeTalkPretty have built up a loyal fan-base, performing more than 500 shows in the U.S.and Canada, which included three years on Warped, and appearances at SXSW and CMJ. They won a 2009 MTV VMA for Best Breakout Artist and a mtvU Freshman Award for the video for their single “Wake Up!,” which is available for download in the Rock Band Network Music Store. The band released their second EP in July and will release their first full-length record, We Are Strangers, later this year. (8/19p)
