Crowfield to Primary Wave

AS THE CROWFIELD FLIES: Primary Wave’s Rick Smith and Scott Frazier have inked South Carolina band Crowfield, which now joins Saving Abel, Taddy Porter, Volbeat and Brent James and the Contraband on its joint venture roster. The group’s first single, “Moving on,” will be released through Universal Republic Records in Sept., debuting locally on Charleston’s The Bridge 105.5 later this month. Look for the band to open for fellow SC group Hootie & the Blowfish at their annual summer concert event to help collect school supplies on Aug. 11 at Family Circle Magazine Stadium in Daniel Island, SC.
