Drake vs. Playboy

DRAKE VS. PLAYBOY: Playboy Enterprises is reportedly suing Drake over the sampling of a track on the song, "Best I Ever Had." The lawsuit accuses Drake, Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group of copyright infringement, claiming a portion of Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds’ “Fallin’ in Love” is sampled at the beginning of the Drake track, which is identified as being the property of Playboy Music, Inc. and Playboy Enterprises. Things must be tough at the magazine… Who knew Playboy even held song copyrights? (6/28a)
