Lyor Speaks Out

QUOTATIONS FROM CHAIRMAN LYOR: During this afternoon’s UJA Federation tribute to Atlantic’s Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman, WMG ruler Lyor Cohen made several interesting remarks after being brought to the dais by MC Jeff Ross, who called him “the most feared man in the record business.” Cohen chose to be cryptic about the target of his remarks, “We should unite as an industry and stop bidding against one another, nor let outsiders into our business. We have to get at it again.” Cohen arrived from South Africa for the occasion, where he was attending the World Cup soccer matches. (6/16p)
