NAME THAT TUNESAT: Universal Music Publishing will use Tunesat’s audio fingerprint technology to monitor performance uses of the pubbery's repertoire across U.S. broadcast TV, TuneSat announced. The company, which offers music identification technology for royalty reporting, also said that subscribers to its service "reveal significant numbers of unlicensed performances, where production companies or broadcasters used music without the proper licenses in place from the copyright owners."
