Hall & Oates Boycott Arizona

THEY CAN’T GO FOR THAT (NO CAN DO): Add Daryl Hall and John Oates to the names of musical artists boycotting Arizona in the wake of the state’s new discriminatory immigration law. The duo’s manager Jonathan Wolfson announced the duo is canceling a scheduled July 2 concert at Chase Field after an Arizona Diamondbacks home game. Critics contend the law could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics. Daryl and John issued the following statement: "In addition to our personal convictions, we are standing in solidarity with the music community in our boycott of performing in Arizona at this time." Grammy-winning rock band Los Lobos also canceled an upcoming Arizona show in protest, claiming the law will "inevitably lead to unfair racial profiling and possible abuse of people who just happen to look Latino."
