Filter Album on Rocket Science

FILTER TIPS: Hey man, nice shot...again. Platinum rockers Filter will release their fifth studio album, The Trouble With Angels, this August on Kevin Day’s Rocket Science Ventures. Advance word is that fans of leader Richard Patrick’s seminal industrial rock on Short Bus and Title of Record will embrace his latest as a return to those roots. The debut single, “The Inevitable Relapse,” impacts Active Rock and Alternative radio June 21. Said Patrick: “People think the song is about addiction, consumption and obsession, but they’re wrong…It’s a love song.” Filter’s live band features Patrick on vocals and guitar, along with guitarist Rob Patterson (Korn, Otep), bassist Phil Buckman and longtime drummer Mika Fineo.
