Alpha Rev picked for You Oughta Know

“MORNING” GLORY: Buzzing Hollywood band Alpha Rev has been handpicked as the next featured act in VH1’s “You Oughta Know” Artist on the Rise series. The Mark Pellington-directed first video goes into heavy rotation on the channel April 5, while a dedicated band page at YouOughtaKnow.VH1.com will go live April 1 and be home to the “New Morning” video as well as exclusive interview clips, tour dates, photos and more. “New Morning” is the title track of Alpha Rev’s major label debut, hitting April 27. The Texas band will be highly visible in Austin this week, doing four official SXSW sets. (3/17a)
