Scalpers plead not guilty

WISEGUYS PLEAD NOT GUILTY: Three of the four Wiseguy Tickets principals charged with using sophisticated computer programs to illegally buy more than a million concert tickets for resale and pocketing $29 million (see item below) have pleaded not guilty in a New Jersey federal court, the AP reported. Californians Kenneth Lowson, Kristofer Kirsch and Joel Stevenson entered their pleas Tuesday through their lawyers. Bail has been set at $500k for Stevenson and $1 million for Kirsch; Lowson’s bail hearing is today. The fourth Wiseguy, Faisal Nahdi, is overseas but is expected to surrender on his return. (3/3a)
